Our tools supply media professionals via editorial ticker or e-mail, publish PR content on the web and ensure high findability on Google etc. In this way, we provide our customers with maximum reach and visibility - nationally and internationally. We look forward to you becoming part of our team: We are looking for you as a Media research assistant (m/f/d) full-time (40h/week) for news aktuell GmbH at one of our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt or Munich or remotely (from Germany).


The job + The responsibility

  • Research and acquisition of editorial contacts

  • Maintaining telephone and written contact with journalists, influencers and media companies

  • Developing and monitoring new media and target groups

  • Topic indexing

  • Use of print media, digital tools and databases for data research

  • Monitoring of common specialised media services

  • Project work


You + Your strengths

  • Training in data and information management or similar qualifications an advantage

  • Creativity and enthusiasm for digital trends and topics

  • Also suitable for lateral entry

  • Understanding of how databases and database structures work

  • Understanding of journalism and public relations

  • High level of expertise in internet research

  • Confident written and spoken English skills

  • Further foreign language skills are a plus 

  • Confident and communicative telephone manner

  • Interest in the German and international media landscape
